Hunters Landing On Lake Conroe

Hunters Landing is located near the end of the Walden Peninsula and is a secluded and gated community located off of River Road in the back of the Walden Community. Hunter's Landing is made up of two sections and contains open waterfront, canal waterfront, and interior homes. There are 49 home sites located in the community and currently there are 39 single family homes.

Hunter's Landing was developed by local builder/developer Jerry Ward and all of the homes in the community are Jerry Ward Custom Homes. Only a handful of undeveloped lots are left in the community and most of the homes were built between 2000 and 2007. It is one of the newer communities on Lake Conroe and most of the homes are built on small patio size lots average 7500 square feet in size. Homes located at the end of First Light Drive enjoy beautiful open waterfront views with southeastern exposure. The streets in Hunter's Landing are private and concrete and is home to retirees as well as young families. There are also a handful of weekend places owners in the community. Hunter's Landing is located in the Montgomery School District and is only one mile from the new Madeley Ranch Elementary School.

One unique feature of Hunters Landing is that the Home Owners Association Annual Fee covers yard maintenance for the owners. Hunters Landing also has its own private marina for home owners who live on the interior lots. Interior lot owners enjoy a private deeded boat slip which is fully transferrable with the sale of any home purchased. Open waterfront homes can sell as high as $750,000 while canal front homes will start out in the mid $350's. Interior homes will range from the low $200,000's to mid $300,000's.

Directions to Hunters Landing On Lake Conroe

Take Hwy 105 until you reach the intersection of Walden Road. Take Walden Road approximately 4.7 miles through the Walden subdivision until you reach River Road. Take a left on River Road and travel 0.2 miles until you reach the front gate of Hunter's Landing on the right.
